Do I need to know how to code? +
No. If you can follow written instructions and copy-paste a command into a terminal, you can install Coinductor. The install script handles all technical setup automatically. The full install guide walks you through every prerequisite — including getting API keys from Kraken, creating a Telegram bot, and setting up Google Sheets.
Is real money at risk? +
Not by default. Coinductor ships in paper trading mode — all trades are simulated at real market prices using a virtual balance. You can evaluate performance risk-free before deciding to go live. Switching to live trading requires a deliberate configuration change that you make intentionally.
Where does the bot run? +
On a VPS (Virtual Private Server) — a small cloud server that runs 24/7. Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, AWS, and Vultr all work. A basic instance costs $5-10/month. The install guide covers setup from scratch. The bot never runs through our servers — it runs on yours, with your credentials, completely under your control.
Do you ever see my API keys or trading data? +
Never. Coinductor is a software download — not a service. Your Kraken API keys, Telegram credentials, and trading history live entirely on your own server. We have no portal, no account system, no access to your data whatsoever. Once you download and install it, we're completely out of the picture.
What exchanges does it support? +
Currently Kraken. It uses Kraken's WebSocket for real-time price data and their REST API for live order execution. Kraken is one of the most established, regulated crypto exchanges — available in both the US and Canada.
Is this financial advice? +
No. Coinductor is a software tool that automates a configurable trading strategy. Past paper trading performance does not guarantee future live trading results. Cryptocurrency trading involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for any trading decisions made using this software. Always consult a qualified financial professional before trading with real money.
